On The Record was built because I was living the chaos. Between managing transcripts, tracking payments, and racing deadlines, I knew there had to be a better way. After watching me struggle for the first 6–8 months, my husband Ronak finally said, "Enough is enough." As a software engineer, he quickly noticed how fragmented our world is when reporters first start working.
When he looked at me and said, "I can build you something to track all your transcripts, invoices, and payments," I knew we were onto something. Hi, I'm Val, a court reporter just like you, and after living this process day after day, we built On The Record, one place to keep everything organized without the mental overload.
This platform is here to save you time, help you stay on top of deadlines, and keep your money and jobs easy to track — so you can focus on what matters most: getting the record. On The Record is built by a court reporter, for court reporters. And we're just getting started.
